Day 2

Songs. Tributes and Fellowship in Ekiti

The second day of the valedictory programme for Chief Anthony Ashaolu offers guests a gentle balance of reflection, culture, and fellowship.

Guests are encouraged to enjoy a relaxed morning exploring the natural beauty and calm rhythm of Ado-Ekiti—from the rolling green hills that define Ekiti State, to a visit to the renowned Ikogosi Warm Springs, or simply unwinding in the comfort of their hotels while soaking in the warmth and hospitality of the town.

In the evening, guests will gather at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Iworoko Road, for a special session of songs and tributes, as family, friends, and well-wishers share memories, music, and celebrate a life of impact, dignity, and service.

Later that night, a private rooftop reception will be hosted for close friends and associates at the Oba Rawaa’s Compound, an intimate setting for fellowship, quiet conversations, and shared remembrance

Day Two is designed to honour both place and person: the beauty of Ekiti, the warmth of community, and the enduring legacy of Chief Anthony Ashaolu.
